Warranty Policy – Conor Australia Pty Ltd

This Warranty Policy applies to all products sold by Conor Australia Pty Ltd through our website, authorised resellers and trade partners.


1. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

 

2. 1-Year Manufacturer Warranty

Conor products include a 1-year manufacturer warranty from the date of purchase, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal domestic use.

If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, Conor may, at its option:

  • repair the product;
  • replace the product with the same or similar model; or
  • refund the original purchase price.

 

3. What Is Covered

This warranty covers genuine manufacturing defects that occur during normal intended use of the product.

 

4. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Physical damage, breakage, impact, or accidental damage
  • Misuse, abuse, or improper handling
  • Interference with automatic components, including forcing or resisting the lid while it is opening or closing
  • Applying pressure or force to moving parts beyond normal use
  • Damage caused by children or external interference
  • Incorrect installation, unlicensed installation, or failure to follow installation instructions
  • Damage caused during removal, reinstallation, or modification
  • Use of non-genuine parts or unauthorised repairs
  • Normal wear and tear or cosmetic issues
  • Commercial or high-traffic use unless approved in writing

 

5. Installation Requirements

Products connected to mains water must be installed in accordance with applicable plumbing regulations and local requirements. Where required, installation must be carried out by a licensed professional.

Conor is not responsible for installation workmanship or site-specific conditions.

 

6. Property Damage and Consequential Loss

This warranty applies to the product only. It does not cover:

  • Installation or reinstallation costs
  • Access to plumbing, wiring, walls, or fixtures
  • Water damage, flooding, or property damage
  • Any indirect or consequential loss

Nothing in this section limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

 

7. Purchases via Marketplaces

For products purchased through third-party platforms (including Amazon), returns and replacements must be processed through the original platform in accordance with their policies.

 

8. Making a Warranty Claim

To lodge a claim, please contact us before removing or disposing of the product.

You may be asked to provide:

  • Proof of purchase
  • Photos or video of the issue
  • Description of the problem
  • Installation details

We may request further information or inspection before confirming a claim.

If the issue is not due to a manufacturing defect, we may offer a paid repair or replacement.

 

9. Warranty Period Transition

Products purchased prior to 30 March 2026 remain covered under the warranty terms applicable at the time of purchase.

Products purchased on or after this date are covered by the current warranty terms.
