Warranty Policy
Warranty Policy β Conor Australia Pty Ltd
This Warranty Policy applies to all products sold by Conor Australia Pty Ltd through our website, authorised resellers and trade partners.
1. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Our products come with guarantees that are provided by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Those guarantees cannot be excluded. If a product fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund, depending on the nature of the problem.
The rights described in this Warranty Policy are in addition to, and do not replace, your rights under the ACL.
2. Conor warranty coverage
Subject to the terms below, Conor Australia provides a standard product warranty for defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. Unless a different period is stated on the product page, the warranty period is one (1) year from the date of original purchase.
If a manufacturing defect is confirmed within the warranty period, Conor Australia will, at its option:
β repair the product; or
β replace the product with the same or a similar model; or
β refund the original purchase price of the product.
Any remedy relates to the product itself only.
3. What the warranty does not cover
This warranty does not apply to, and Conor Australia is not responsible for, any of the following:
a. Installation related issues, including:
β’ incorrect or unlicensed installation;
β’ failure to follow the installation instructions supplied with the product;
β’ incorrect or loose fittings, hoses, T-valves, connectors, washers or seals;
β’ failure to perform leak testing at installation;
β’ incorrect or excessive water pressure;
β’ failure to fit or use an isolation valve;
β’ damage caused when removing or re-installing a product.
b. Property damage and flooding, including:
β’ water leaks or bursts;
β’ flooding of bathrooms or other areas;
β’ damage to walls, floors, ceilings, cabinetry or fixtures;
β’ mould or moisture damage;
β’ any other loss, cost or expense arising from water or plumbing events.
All such risks sit with the installing plumber and the property owner. Any claim for property or water damage must be made through the installerβs insurance or the property ownerβs building or contents insurance, not through Conor Australia.
c. Use, handling and wear, including:
β’ misuse, abuse, neglect or accidental damage;
β’ use of harsh or unsuitable cleaning agents;
β’ impact, dropping, crushing or improper storage;
β’ cosmetic wear and tear that does not affect function;
β’ use of non-genuine parts or unauthorised repairs or modifications;
β’ commercial or high-traffic use, unless specifically approved in writing.
d. Regulatory and product-selection issues, including:
β’ installation of products that are not suitable for the plumbing conditions at the site;
β’ installation or use of non-WaterMark certified products where local law or regulation requires certified products;
β’ any fines, penalties or compliance issues that arise from the choice or installation of a particular product.
4. Installation requirements and responsibility
All products that connect to mains water must be installed by a licensed plumber with appropriate back-flow in accordance with:
β AS/NZS 3500 and the Plumbing Code of Australia;
β all applicable state and territory plumbing regulations; and
β the installation instructions supplied with the product.
Where electrical work is required, it must be carried out by a licensed electrician.
By purchasing and installing our products, you acknowledge that all plumbing and electrical work is carried out entirely by independent contractors and is outside the control of Conor Australia. Those contractors, together with the property owner, are responsible for ensuring that the installation is safe, compliant and leak free.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Conor Australiaβs total liability in connection with the supply of a product is limited to:
β the cost of repairing the product; or
β the cost of replacing the product; or
β the cost of refunding the product purchase price,
as determined by Conor Australia.
Except where the ACL does not allow it, Conor Australia is not liable for any indirect, special or consequential loss, including loss caused by flooding, water damage, loss of use, loss of profit, business interruption or similar claims.
Nothing in this Warranty Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.

Our warranty to such buyers is limited to the repair, replacement or refund of the product itself. Trade buyers must not promise or represent that Conor Australia will be responsible for property damage or site-related loss.
